Human Insight History
The creation of Human Insight
At the start of 2000 and during the height of the Silicon bubble the company Human Insight was born with its headquarters in London. The management team consisted of a range of management consultants and was led by Rick Price. The main focus of Human Insight was to help organisations in their transformation process and to manage the people side of this transition well.
As a company, Human Insight developed a certification training in 2002 so that other practitioners and consulting professionals could implement the tool within their organisation. In the Netherlands GITP, an assessment organisation became a business partner and user of the tool. Other Human Insight customers included BT, Prudential, KPN and Getronics merger and Heineken.
From 2002 until 2015 Human Insight grew internationally and certified practitioners over the world.
In 2015 Richard Robertson and Sebastian Hamers joined the organisation and facilitated a digital transformation of the business. Developing an online platform so that anybody in the world could send out Human Insight assessments and be trained in its application. From 2015 the organisation jumped its own Growth-Curve and managed to ascertain business partners in the form of London Business School, Nyenrode Business University, Purdue University and Ashridge Business University.
n 2018 Human Insight moved their headquarters from London to The Hague due to Brexit implications and now holds its office at Zuid Holland 7, The Hague. It was also in 2018 where further investment was made in the digitalisation of Human Insight by means of creating an online certification process which was launched under the flag of Human Insight Academy. The Academy is an online platform that covers certification training as well as online modules that cover a wider range of organisation development topics.
In 2020 Human Insight Solutions was launched to share the insights and best practices that have been curated over the course of two decades. The Human Insight Solutions helps organisations, L&D professionals, HR and consultants to maximise the use of insights that Human Insight have to offer.
